‘Emerald Towers’ is the perfect description for this variety of Basil. It has an upright, columnar growth habit and is adorned with glossy, emerald green leaves.

Boasting the traditional Genovese flavor, ‘Emerald Towers’ is perfect for eating fresh in Caprese salads and chopped into pesto, soups, and sauces. It is an excellent source of vitamin K, manganese, iron, vitamin A, and vitamin C. It is also a good source of calcium,

magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids. In addition, the oils and extracts of Basil are good for digestion, have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial properties. So, all in all, for most people, Basil is a really good food to eat!

Basil Everleaf ‘Emerald Towers’ grows 24-36 inches tall x 8-12 inches wide. It is uniquely breed to be late-flowering. On average 8-12 weeks later than other varieties of Basil. Because of its columnar growth habit, this Basil is ideal for containers, and for those of us that have limited growing space, i.e., patios or balconies. Basil is considered an Annual or tender perennial and the Sunset Climate Zones are “All Zones”. Plant in full sun in most regions, however provide some afternoon shade in hottest summer climates.
