DETERMINATE

Determinate: (bush type) Blossoms on fruit develop on the vine at the same time. The harvest time is short, 7-10 days. Plants are self-topping and seldom need staking; best when caged.

  • ACE- Large, 10 oz. fruit that is an excellent producer for the fresh farmers market or the home garden. VFN Determinant. 71 days.

  • Bush Early Girl- Produces higher yields than any other compact variety. Medium 6.5-7 oz. fruit with excellent flavor. VF1&2NT Determinate. 63 days.

  • Celebrity- A 1984 All American Selection Winner. Absolutely incredible set of exceptionally flavorful, firm 8-12 oz. fruit on strong vines with good cover. Best-selling Determinate Tomato at Clearwater Color Nursery. VF1&2NT Determinate. 72 days.

  • Roma- A quality paste variety with very thick flesh. A popular old favorite with good yields. Determinate. 70-75 days.

INDETERMINATE

Indeterminate: (pole or stake type) Blossoms and fruit develop progressively, and harvest lasts several months; best when staked.

  • Better Boy- A trusted favorite for many years, Better Boy is a great performer with big hybrid-quality yields of succulent, juicy yet meaty tomatoes. A good all-round choice. 10 oz. VFN Indeterminate. 70 days.

  • Big Beef- Ball seeds best breeding of the beefsteak type tomatoes. They may not be as large as other beefsteaks at 10-12 oz., but they are more productive and disease tolerant. Outstanding flavor and perfect for slicing. Alternaria and Stemphylium resistant. VF1&2NT, Indeterminate. 73 Days.

  • Early Girl- Comes in first as an early slicing tomato. Definitely one of our customers’ favorite early varieties. Year in and year out our #1 selling tomato. Dependable large harvest of flavorful, solid 4-6 oz. fruit throughout summer and late into the fall season.   • Red Cherry Sweet 100- These are without a doubt one of our best sellers! The perfect tomato for snacking in the garden or added to salads. Bears 100 or more 1 inch, very sweet fruit -smaller cherry tomatoes- in clusters on long branches. VF, Indeterminate. 65 days.

  • Basketpack Large Cherry- 1 inch red fruit, heavy yield with a sweet flavor. Indeterminate. 75 Days.

  • Basketpack Small Cherry- 1/2 inch red fruit, heavy yield, with a pleasant flavor. Indeterminate. 70-75 days.

  • Black Cherry- Deep dusky purple with deep, complex flavor to match. 1 inch size. Indeterminate. 65-70 days.

  • Red Cherry Large- Very sweet and productive 1-1 ½ oz. Fruit that grows on vines 8-10 feet tall. The classic cherry tomato. Indeterminate. 65 days.

  • Red Cherry Supersweet 100- Scarlet, cherry sized tomatoes appear on pendulous clusters throughout the season. .5-1 oz. Versatile, drought and heat tolerant. More disease resistant than the Sweet 100. VFN Indeterminate. 60 days.

  • Juliet- Clusters of 1 oz. juicy red elongated tomatoes on long, vigorous vines. Less cracking than other cherry types. Resists Alternaria and leaf blight. Indeterminate. 60 Days.

  • Sun Gold- Beautiful golden orange fruits are borne in large clusters. 0.5 oz. sized fruit. Great for snacking even a week before fully mature, with a sweet flavor. FT Indeterminate. 65 Days.

  • White Cherry- These creamy yellow 1 oz. tomatoes have a mild flavor and a compact growth habit. Easy to pick, free from cracking. Indeterminate. 70 Days.

Heirlooms

  • Amish Paste- Large for a paste tomato, these 8-12 oz. tomatoes have excellent flavor and double as salad tomatoes. Plum/strawberry shape. Indeterminate. 85 days.

  • Arkansas Traveler- This 100 year old 6-8 oz. medium sized tomato will surprise you with its balance of sweet/tart flavor. Crack and disease resistant. Heat tolerant. Indeterminate. 80 days.

  • Black Krim- Flattened, dark red-purple fruit with delicate skin, green shoulders. Very juicy, green-tinted flesh. 8-12 oz. size. Must be staked or caged. Indeterminate. 70-90 Days.

  • Black Prince- Flavorful Mahogany brown tomatoes become orange/red at blossom end. Deep color in sunnier locations. 3-5 oz. size. Less cracking than other heirlooms. Indeterminate. 74 Days.

  • Blush- Lovely translucent, elongated fruits ‘blushed’ red and gold. A must have for the garden! 0.5 – 1 oz. size. Indeterminate. 65 Days.

  • Brandywine Pink- One of the benchmarks for intense tomato flavor, this popular beefsteak sized 9-16 oz. tomato produces rosy pink fruits that are full of old-fashioned taste, and have been prized for decades. Vines are vigorous so use tall cages. Indeterminate. 80-100 days.

  • Brandywine Red- One of the most recognized of heirlooms, and has helped to establish the mainstream heirloom seed renaissance. Potato-leafed plants yield fruits that are red, relatively large ( > 1 pound), globe to oblong shaped, and full of flavor. Indeterminate. 80-100 days.

  • Brandywine Yellow- Potato-leafed vines produce golden-yellow, fruits weighing up to 2 pounds. Can be more intensely flavored and tart than is expected of a yellow fruited tomato, and they have a creamy texture. Indeterminate. 90 days.

  • Cherokee Purple- Seeds said to originate in Tennessee, passed down from Native Americans of the Cherokee Tribe. Consistently ranks high in taste tests, for sweet, rich taste. Deep purple to dusky pink exterior with deep red interior. Vigorous vines need strong staking or caging. 10-12 oz. Indeterminate. 80-90 days.

  • Cherry Red Pear- Long productive vines bear tasty, deep red, pear-shaped cherry tomatoes. 1 oz. size. Indeterminate. 75 Days

  • German Johnson- One of the parent lines of legendary Mortgage Lifter, this pinkish-red, nearly seedless variety thrives in hot, humid areas. 1-2 pound, large-lobed fruits have mild, meaty flesh and are good for slicing and canning. Indeterminate. 80 Days.

  • Golden Jubilee- Round, smooth, golden-orange fruit is meaty with few seeds, mild flavor and low acidity. 8 oz. size. Resists Alternaria. Indeterminate. 80 Days

  • Green Zebra- wait till stripes turn yellow to harvest, tart, spicy, zingy taste, medium sized 1.5-2.5in. Indeterminate. 70-80 days.

  • Nepal- Robust, deep red medium-large 12 oz. fruit from the Himalayas. Indeterminate. 78 Days.

  • Old German-Yellow fruit with red exterior and interior center. 1 pound size. Outstanding flavor, few seeds. Indeterminate. 75 Days.

  • Pineapple- Large, beefsteak-type tomatoes ripen to beautiful bright yellow, often with red stripes. 2 pound, meaty, mid-flavored flesh has few seeds. High-Yielding. Indeterminate. 90 Days.

  • Red Cherry Gardeners Delight- This small fruited variety rates high with home gardeners for its yield of sugar sweet tomatoes. Crack resistant fruit is ¾ - 1.5 inches across and arranged in clusters of 6 – 12 fruits. The perfect bite sized garden snack. Indeterminate. 65 days.

  • Striped German- Flat, ribbed tomatoes are yellow/red shades with marbled interior. Great looking slicer with complex flavor and smooth texture. 1lb size. Indeterminate. 78 Days.

  • Stupice- Pronounced ‘Stu-pitza’. One of the best flavored of the early varieties, this golf ball sized early type will fruit all season long. Originally from Czechoslovakia, this red 2.5 x 2 inch tomato is one you don’t want to miss. Indeterminate. 50 days.

  • Valencia- Smooth, round, mid-season fruit is orange-skinned and full-flavored. Meaty with few seeds. 8-10 oz. sized fruit. Indeterminate. 76 Days.
