Agastache 'Blue Fortune'

Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’ (Anise hyssop, Giant hyssop)

If you’re looking for a late-summer - early fall bloomer, this outstanding perennial is one that you’ve got to add to your garden. These attractive plants display their blooms at the time of year when many other annuals and perennials are starting to fade. ‘Blue Fortune’ grows 36” tall, 18” wide, and have strong upright stems that are topped with tiny, tube-shaped lavender-blue flowers that are tightly packed in rounded whorls.

Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’ is very heat and cold tolerant, is drought tolerant, and deer and rabbit resistant. Butterflies, hummingbirds and bees are attracted to the fragrant flowers, however most insect pests leave the plants alone. These sun-loving plants are very easy grow and are an excellent choice for cottage gardens, butterfly gardens, and at the back of a mixed perennial bed. Pair with plants such as Rudbeckia ‘Goldstrum’ (available in 4” pots), Asclepias curassavica (available in 6 pks, 4”, 4.5”, & Gallons), or Galvezia speciose ‘Gran Canyon’ (available in Gallons), to create a bird-friendly environment in your garden.

We are growing Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’ in 4.5” Quart pots. Give us a call, check out our website www.clearwatercolor.com, and “Like” us on Facebook to see what’s happening around the nursery.
