It grows 12 – 24 inches tall, 12 – 24 inches wide and does best if planted in light shade to part sun. The red stems of ‘Richmondensis’ hold attractive semi-succulent leaves that have scalloped margins. The leaves are dark green on top and deep red on the underside, however depending on the growing conditions, the leaves will turn a deep shade of red when exposed to more sunlight, and stay green in the shade. The flowers of ‘Richmondensis’ range in color from vivid crimson red to bright pink to blush pink.
